DC House Grooves were back on the airwaves Saturday, February 21st at 7pm ET with the welcome return from Hightower, stepping into the studio for his second guest appearance alongside residents Andy Grant & Katrina Mir. This session was built as a two-part exploration, moving from deep, driving rhythms into more atmospheric territory as the night unfolded.
Hightower kicked off his guest slot with quality house vibes, dialing in groove-led selections designed for proper heads-down listening. The set delivered rich textures, patient builds, and that unmistakable late-night pulse that kept us grooving.
For the second hour, Hightower shifted gears into liquid drum & bass, lifting the tempo while keeping the vibe deep and musical. Rolling breaks, lush pads, and weighty basslines carried the session into a more expansive space, balancing momentum with atmosphere. As always, Andy Grant & Katrina Mir were on support, shaping the flow and setting the vibe throughout.
