It was a night for the record books. It was a night to rewrite them. The squad came in with one purpose: take them as far as they could. And one question: how fast could they go?

Fast. Really *#@%ing fast.

Shelby and Karissa battled to the final 200 meters and became the 1st and 2nd fastest Americans of All-Time. The first under 14:30. By a mile. Shelby is now #12 All-Time in the world.

Moh smashed his own Canadian record. Obliterating it, he became the 10th fastest man ever. He was absolutely on fire over the final 3.5 laps. The months of accumulated training fuel burning down down the track in a blaze of glory. Lopez, at 35 years young, finally got his sub-13. He was hanging on by a thread the last k, but who wouldn’t be after passing 3K in 7:46 and then speeding up? Very few men ever. Moh just happens to be one.

We would, of course, prefer to be competing for medals in big stadiums against diverse fields. The heart of the sport will always be head to head competition and it should be. But there is a beauty as well in a more collaborative angle. In getting together with your friends and testing yourself against yourself and the clock. In finding out what happens when you throw caution to the wind and just let it rip. In the present time of scarce venues and travel bans and restricted meet size, that is the thing we feel we can explore and deliver to track fans everywhere. We hope you enjoy it!
