In this video, I have explained a question about Hantz pyridine synthesis which appeared in the exam GATE-2018. This method involves aldol condensation and Knoevenagel reaction. Finally, the ring is produced by intramolecular ring-closing after the imine formation. Finally, any aromatization reagent like DDQ may convert the product into pyridine which is an aromatic substance.
