Sometimes you just want to escape from day to day life and go on a hike. Some days you just can't find a hiking partner and are left with the decision to go alone or stay at home. I found myself in this dilemma often throughout my hiking life.
Setting out on epic hikes alone have transformed my life in so many ways. In this video I run through my thoughts on the subject and give a bit of advice who might still be on the fence about hiking alone.
Always be sure to go on adventures that are within your skill level and that you feel comfortable with. It's easy to get into dangerous situations and being alone can make it worse.
