Fetal rhythm problems are common and requires a systematic evaluation of the fetal cardiac rhythm, survey for associated structural defects and evaluation of cardiac function. This is done using Spectral Doppler, M-Mode and cardiac function evaluation.
In this lecture, a systematic approach to common forms of fetal cardiac rhythm problems including ectopic beats, various types of tachycardias and common forms of bradycardias will be presented. A brief outline of the management principles of the individual arrhythmias also will be discussed by Dr Balu.
