Ranking in multiple cities for your services can be difficult. However, there are tried and true SEO tips and tricks that I'll go over to help you overcome these challenges.
Why is it difficult to rank outside my city?
For starters, Google is heavily vested in user experience. Simply put, they know that searches with local intent have a lot to do with proximity, and they use proximity considerations in their algorithm to present businesses that are close to the searcher.
However, this does not mean you can't rank for local business searches for neighboring cities.
