How To Make A Vintage Yamaha Bass - DIY

Описание: This is the full breakdown of how I converted a secondhand vintage Yamaha BB424X bass into a replica BB2000. It was a long process, but it was worth it.

Emulating Tetsuo Sakurai's BB2000 tone was the goal, and I reached that goal! Sakurai (and by extension, Casiopea) are a huge influence on my playing; having his tone gets me slightly closer to sounding like him!

Some elements I didn't mention:
I used matte black aerosol spray to paint the pickup rings and covers
new string tree was from Amazon
total cost was about $700CAD, less than half of a used BB2000!
