SONG INFO: this one i hesitate to even label as a “bonus track”… i’ll do it for the sake of parity with the full album video but JEEZ. this may be my favorite of the entire record!
well, really, takebacks was never an actual record released by jf to begin with. really, this song could honestly slide in with a lot of jagger albums. it covers a pretty wide berth! but the hazy surfy feel and bitcrushed drums tipped me over the edge for takebacks. plus, this song’s title makes a fun rhyming duo with nicotine daydream!
this song, like nicotine daydream’s demo (which i’ll put up here soon), was apparently released around 2014-2015 under the alias of “van gundy.” this information was discovered by the talented@bruno-rv9qm, who found the titles of lost jf bandcamp songs, and then the also-talented @nightgalaxysky dug around on mp3.pm and uncovered this gem. listen! enjoy! can we stay just a little bit more?
