"Learn to surf" The surfing Pop-up/Slide-up Technique

Описание: Surfing Slide-up technique was a technique I developed in 1996 for beginners of all levels. I’ve used every technique imaginable as a surf coach and developing Slide-up was the best thing as an instructor I could have done. I’ve seen amazing results and why I continue using it as a training tool that all beginners can use. It helps beginners develop much more solid technique to going to your feet in one motion and as you get stronger it turns into a wonderful natural pop up on a wave. To have great technique there’s nothing better than having great timing on a wave, but as you improve in that area by being in the water, you need to develop a solid way of going to your feet with confidence. Here is a great way to practice when you are not in the water to help develop that skill. The slide-up will turn into a natural consistent pop-up as your surfing and judging waves improves. I recommend practicing this at home 50x/week and before going surfing. Practice on hardwood floor with socks, then practice catching whitewash/foam and move on to small waves. Obviously with a coach you can go right into catching small waves as a good coach should know how to time you into waves properly.
