In Rome, 25 individuals from the Prelature of Opus Dei were ordained as priests by the Prefect for the Dicastery for the Clergy. Cardinal Lazzaro You Heung-sik, the Prefect of the Dicastery for the Clergy, emphasized the importance of fraternity among the newly ordained priests.
He urged them to support and accompany one another through both joyful and challenging times. The Prelature of Opus Dei, established in 1928, is an institution within the Catholic Church that encompasses both married members and individuals who live in celibacy for apostolic purposes.
