At the Mule Spinner in August 2025, Natalie Reis and I hosted an intimate acoustic singer-songwriter-style concert.
This song is about how at the end of the day, we need to have our own backs. Through all of our personal trials and errors, we learn more and more how to do that. We end up growing older and reflecting on what worked, what didn't, and who it worked best with. This song is kind of about all of that, especially ourselves being "true and tried."
