 Crave's Heated Rivalry ​​​​​has taken over pop culture and social media, and fans of the hit romance show must watch creator Jacob Tierney's other show, Letterkenny. Heated Rivalry's main cast is led by Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie as respective rival hockey players, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, who find themselves in a secret years-spanning situationship.  Based on Rachel Reid novel series, Game Changers, Heated Rivalry struck a chord with audiences, and it's all thanks to Tierney bringing the show to life. Tierney is a multi-talented actor, writer, producer, and director who also starred in Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark​​​​​​?. However, before Heated Rivalry, Tierney's biggest claim to fame was co-developing the beloved Canadian sitcom, Letterkenny. Letterkenny Went On For 12 Seasons Before Heated Rivalry Debuted   Developed with star and creatorJared Keeso, Tierney's Letterkenny is a dry comedy about the titular fictional rural Ontario town. The show focuses on different social circles in Letterkenny, with Keeso's Wayne as the main character. With only 5,000 people in the town, everyone knows everyone, and their issues become everyone else’s problems.  The tone is wildly different than Heated Rivalry, but hockey is a strong theme in both. Unlike Heated Rivalry, Letterkenny has rapid-fire jokes and puns, whereas the hockey romance show favors dramatic storylines over humor. Also, whereas Heated Rivalry has a relatively small cast, Letterkenny boasts a large ensemble, comprised of characters in the Hicks, Jocks, Skids, and Natives cliques.  The sitcom may differ from Heated Rivalry, but Letterkenny is a uniquely Canadian sitcom that deserves attention after running for 12 seasons, especially with Tierney at the forefront. What's Next For Jacob Tierney   Jacob Tierney will have a busy 2026. After the success of Letterkenny, a spinoff starring Jared Keeso as Letterkenny's Shoresy was born. Tierney joined the spinoff as a director and executive producer, with season 5 premiering on Christmas Day 2025.
