In this video, you will see the whole story of the Great Tits' family. They had 8 eggs at the beginning. Mom incubated the eggs and brooded the chicks. Both parents took care of the family by delivering food. At first, Dad delivered food, passed it to Mom and she gave it to the chicks. Later on, Dad fed the chicks by himself, too. Mom showed a lot of courage by scaring away the Eurasian Jay twice! She is small but very brave! You'll see how the chicks grow from small pink chicks to much bigger (but still little) feathered little tits getting ready to face the outside world and fledge. It is worth watching until the end to see the final battle of Mom with the Jay on the day of fledging and how 5 chicks successfully fledged on 4th May 2024 (in the late afternoon).
