Zaharoff Signature Rose review – a straightforward, juicy rose that actually smells like its name.
Welcome back to The InScentive Collection. I’m your host Brandon and today we’re getting straight into Zaharoff Signature Rose. I just came off smelling Black Rose from the same house, and that one didn’t give me the Turkish rose I was hunting for. This one does. This is much closer to what I expected when I heard “Signature Rose.”

On paper, this is classified as an amber fragrance with rose front and center and a sweet, warm backbone:
Accords: amber, rose, floral, sweet, warm spice, vanilla, woody, fresh spice, balsamic, oud
What the note breakdown says:
Top / Heart: Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose (with Bulgarian rose mentioned again), amber, Chinese peony, jasmine
Base: olibanum (frankincense), sugar cane, agarwood/oud, bourbon vanilla, Australian sandalwood
On my skin, the roses are the star of the show. I immediately get that juicy, blended rose—definitely more “signature rose” than anything I picked up in Black Rose. I can feel both Turkish and Bulgarian rose playing together, giving it depth and a slightly different character than a one-note rose.
This wears like a very straightforward, rose-dominant fragrance. When you sign up for something called Signature Rose, this is exactly the kind of profile you expect: a clear rose identity with some sweetness and warmth supporting it. There’s also a sour edge running through it that I can’t fully place from the note list, but it keeps the rose from feeling too syrupy or flat.
As it develops, I mostly get:
What I get on skin: juicy blended rose, a touch of vanilla sweetness, a hint of warmth from the amber and woods, and that slightly sour nuance in the background
It doesn’t try to reinvent rose or flip it upside down; instead it delivers a clean, wearable, rose-forward scent that feels like a “this is my rose fragrance” type of bottle.
If you’re building a collection and want one clear rose scent that actually smells like roses, this might be a good candidate to test. If you prefer your rose buried under smoke, incense, or heavy woods, this may feel a bit too straightforward for you.
