Welcome to Monarch Mountain, a true hidden gem in Colorado. At Monarch the snow is usually deep (most seasons), the crowds are nonexistent on the slopes, the Aprés is no joke, and the parking lot cuisine is elite.
We woke up and learned that you can't buy booze before 8am. But we made breakfast burritos at 11,000ft before taking a few hot laps, and they didn't make us any better at snowboarding but they did make us full. Shoutout stokes green chili on this one.
