The Little River Trail is located in the Elkmont area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is one of our favorite trails on the park. It is relaxing and fun! Please subscribe to our channel if you enjoy exploring our parks and public lands!
We visited during October of 2019. We hiked 3.5 miles along the trail and then turned back. The Little River is full of boulders and the water is crystal clear. The Little River Trail itself is an old railroad bed left over from the logging and lumber days of the area. The rails were rolled up in the 1930's.
