Hallo, liebe Latex-Liebhaber und Do-it-Yourself-Fans! Im Rampenlicht meiner heutigen Episode in Karins Latexklinik steht ein besonders großer und transparenter Patient - ein Vakuumbett. Es hat seine Herausforderungen erlebt und trägt nun Spuren der Abnutzung, aber keine Sorge, es ist in guten Händen.

Erst kümmere ich mich um ein kleines Loch, das dringend geflickt werden muss. Ich klebe sorgfältig einen passenden Latex-Patch darauf, um es wieder voll einsatzfähig zu machen.

Als nächstes wende ich mich der eigentlichen Herausforderung zu: Eine größere Öffnung, bei der ein früherer Reparaturversuch gescheitert ist. Hier werde ich das beschädigte Latex vorsichtig ausschneiden und einen neuen Einsatz aus dem gleichen Material herstellen, um einen makellosen und stabilen Übergang zu gewährleisten.

Timelapse 077: How to repair holes in a latex vacuum bed

Hello, dear latex lovers and do-it-yourself fans! In the spotlight of my episode today in Karin's Latex Clinic is a particularly large and transparent patient - a vacuum bed. It's had its challenges and now bears signs of wear and tear, but don't worry, it's in good hands.

First, I attend to a small hole that urgently needs patching. I carefully stick a matching latex patch on it to make it fully serviceable again.

Next, I turn to the real challenge: a larger hole where an earlier repair attempt failed. Here, I'll carefully cut out the damaged latex and make a new insert from the same material to ensure a flawless and stable transition.
