Delta kernel rust is a project aimed at accelerating Delta support in third party connectors and engines. This session covers our work to bring Delta support to the open source analytical database DuckDB. We will discuss how the support works, the architecture of the integration, and lessons learned along the way. We'll also have some fun demos and benchmarks to show off the integration.
