Hi Guys, this is Abi from GokceDB and in this video, you are going to learn 8 things about Lambda pricing in AWS. Let's get into it.

1. You are charged based on the number of requests for your Lambda functions and the duration it takes for your code to execute.

2. Lambda counts a request each time it gets invoked such as from Amazon Simple Notification Service, API Gateway, and even test invokes from the AWS console.

3. Duration is calculated from the time your code begins executing until it returns or terminates.

4. The price depends on the amount of memory you allocate to your function. An increase in memory size triggers an equivalent increase in CPU available to your function.

5. You can allocate any amount of memory to your function between 128 and 10,240 MB. You can also run your Lambda functions on processors built on either x86 or Arm architectures.

6. You can enable provisioned concurrency to keep your functions initialized and ready to respond in double-digit milliseconds. You pay for the amount of concurrency you configure, and for the time you configure it.

7. With Compute Savings Plans, which is a 1 or 3-year commitment to a consistent amount of usage, you can save up to 17 percent on AWS Lambda.

8. As of this recording, the AWS Lambda free tier includes one million free requests per month and 400,000 GB-seconds of compute time per month.
