Spizio is an automatic spice dispenser built to be functional and showcased on kitchen countertops. Spizio automates the manual process of measuring and dispensing powdered spices in a kitchen, to make the process faster and more efficient. Using voice control or a touch-screen, users can request Spizio to dispense required amount of spice or spice blends.
Spizio was developed as a Mechanical Engineering Capstone Project at the University of Waterloo (2020), and was awarded the GM Innovation Award.
