This was a song that originally appeared on an episode of The Twilight Zone. The music and lyrics were by Jeff Alexander and they closely follow the storyline of that episode. It has since been recorded by other people. For my cover I wanted to take what was played on guitar and transfer that to a fretless bass with piccolo strings. I substituted some notes and played harmonics instead, tuning down a half step, and transposing the key up a few to fit my vocal range better.
The thing I'm holding in my right hand is an ebow, I'm using a Warwick Corvette with piccolo strings, my Line 6 X3 Pro, an Ovation guitar, and a Kurzweil K2500S keyboard.
I added acoustic guitar later and then piano. I like how this came out and I'd like to thank Keitih Guillory for the great audio mix he did for me on it.
