The last of the short lived Dubia Cup games sees Celtic lift (and by default retain to this day) the Dubia Cup on penalties.
The game itself finished 1-1, Mark McGhee scoring for Celtic, John Aldridge for Liverpool.
This was a rare first team run out for Steve McCahill, one of the first times Tommy Coyne played for Celtic and the only time Mark McGhee wore the captains arm band.
