Follow along as I set up another composting system to help close the loop on our food waste at Local Color Farm. Bokashi composting is a simple, low maintenance system that takes all the things your worms can't or won't eat and ferments or pickles them. The pickled food items can then be composted in your outside composter, buried somewhere where you won't be planting right away, or neutralized by living in brown materials like leaves or wood chips and then fed to the worm bin.
