2025 Running The Ave 5k - Race POV | 6/22/25 | Bosco Runs

Описание: Well it only took me 6 months to upload but I finally got this one out haha.

In this video we have the 2025 "Running The Ave 5k" held by the infamous SecondCapitalRunning. This yearly tradition is located in Vineland, New Jersey, which shuts down the action packed street of Landis Avenue for a morning of summer running fun. I ran this race back in 2019 while I was in high school, and this year with my return to running I figured why not come back out and get back in the action. The morning of the race was overcast and very humid, but with this being a pretty flat road race, the plan was to get out and run a quick time to kick off the summer.

About my race:
Long story short: I absolutely gassed myself at the beginning. I very clearly started too hot, and around halfway though the race it came back to bite me and I was pretty much in survival mode for the last 10 minutes of the race. Although I screwed up the pace big time (and had to pee so bad omg), I ended the race with a respectable time of 20:38, for a 16th place finish overall.

With this race being early in the summer season, I took it as a lesson and looked to the 2025 Vineland Grand Prix XC Series to learn pacing and lock down race strategy ahead of time, which if you've seen my other videos that cashed in nicely.

All in all, a very fun day with many friends and peers to experience it with. With the outdoor track season around the corner, I'm heavily looking forward to what I can achieve come Running The Ave 2026.
