Ambleside is a town on Lake Windermere between Windermere and Keswick and a fantastic place for a holiday or break in the Lake District.

We enjoyed the lovely village and shops in keswick. we had our cruise in keswick though we pissed the pencil meuseum.
there are multiple trekking routes in this area . due to rain we could not do.
also the grasmere village is extremely scenic.
enjoy the original grasmere gingerbread also visit the Daffodil gardenbehind the gingerbread shop.

take day pass or 3 gbp for point to point travel
keep umbrella or windchitter as weather is very unpredictable
