Описание: So we have a new mix series starting today. As the RYM Box Set will be covering the Hardcore side of Electronic very soon we have a guide named Gal Defend. He's the author of the 51 vinyl mix series named: THIS IS WHAT WE CALL ... (acidcore, artcore, breakbeat hardcore, darkcore, deathcore, doomcore, frenchcore, gabber, hardcore, hardcore breakz, industrial hc, newstyle, oldschool techno, speedcore, terrorcore, trancecore, uk hardcore). Whew! He's allowed me to upload the series on youtube so these mixes will be showing up on here shortly beginning with this one. All mixes were recorded with: Reloop Effex 2 mixer and 2x Reloop RP-2000 MK3. We don't have tracklists so apologies there. Feel free to ID tracks IF you know them.

Want to know more about Doomcore? It's the slowest, sludgiest, and darkest of all Hardcore flavors. BPMS ranging from 60-140ish, making it the slowest Hardcore genre. Stompy kicks, tons of reverb, long droning sounds and cinematic/atmospheric elements. The trademark TR-909 kickdrum is used differently than in other hardcore genres: it usually employs less distortion, and less decay. However, a reverb effect is added on it sometimes. Offbeat cymbals are usual. The atmosphere of the tracks is often similar to industrial music, doom metal and dark ambient. Somber and contemplative while evoking a post-apocalyptic, hopeless, and terrifying atmosphere.
