The complete history of Call of Duty Infected (from MW3 to BO6)

Описание: It's been more than 13 years now that the fan favorite party mode Infected has been my favorite mode in Call of Duty.

This video is a tribute to the mode I love so much, it contains the evolution of infected over the years and is focused on the mode itself, so this video does not contain any infected glitch, every patch notes or details like map pool changing, little QoL changes like an out of map glitch getting patched for example.
You will find below a list of the chapters in this video and some additional information that got omitted (because of my very good ability of forgetting stuff) and other little fun fact about the creation of this video.

Additional Infected information:

World War II:
WWII started the trend of adding zombie skins for the infected instead of having a 'regular' operator

Modern Warfare (2019):
Same as MWII you would respawn in the sky upon using a tac insert in Giant Infected
Same as MWII the UAV would turn on after half the lobby would die in Giant Infected

Call of Duty Mobile:
Call of duty mobile as it's own infected (dropped 20th of June 2020) called 'attack of the undead' but it did not put it in this video as it felt way too different than the 'regular' infected
Same timer as MW2019
You can earn a ton of powerups and buffs
Cool thing is that the last survivor do get 200hp plus an unlimited minigun
There's a version called 'super attack of the undead' which is infected on steroid where infected players have a ton of health but get slowed down by bullets

Black Ops 6:
Same as Cold War you would get sound effect at the start of the round (OG zombie round skipping audio
You would also get the Elena Siegman - 115 music at the end of a game

My point was obviously not to copy in any shape of form the video they created and I hope this is not the case.

Most of my research was done using the Call of Duty fandom Wiki that had an Infected page: https://callofduty.fandom.com/wiki/In...
But in a lot of cases I had to just scrape the internet for videos uploaded during certain period of time trying to get as much information as possible (trust me it was long), so obviously there must be little mistake and errors here and there.

Sadly I couldn't record BO4 Infected stuff myself as the mode wasn't available in the playlist so I used content from people that I will give credit below:

I am well aware of the subtitle background vanishing for a few seconds on the Infinite Warfare chapter of the video, I'll be honest I did not want to render the video again for multiple hours for a 'small' mistake.
I also know that there's some incorrectly written word at the end of the video that I missed because sadly while doing the subtitles premiere was starting to freeze a ton so I was basically subtitling blindly.

Little fun fact: I recorded the Advanced Warfare Infected part by buying the game on sale and just refunding it as I played less than 2h and wouldn't have played it that much on PC, other older games were recorded on my PS4 hence the bad quality (oopsie).
