Motorbike ride along the new Manawatu-Tararua Highway

Описание: The wait is finally over! The new Manawatu-Tararua Highway opened this week, so I thought I'd better check it out..... and so did hundreds of others. The road is also known as "Te Ahu a Turanga" and "SH 3". This route halves the time between Woodville and Ashurst.

Remember the old Manawatu Gorge road? It's been gone since 2017, and we've been using the Pahitual Track and Saddle Roads since then. Now we have a 3rd option. This will be so much better for heavy vehicles and general commuters.
