Stirling Castle
is a historically significant royal palace and fortress in Scotland, situated on a volcanic crag overlooking the River Forth. Its strategic location made it a vital stronghold and royal residence, playing a central role in Scottish history, including periods of conflict during the Wars of Scottish Independence and the Jacobite rebellions. Notable features include the well-preserved Renaissance Royal Palace, the Great Hall, and the Chapel Royal.

The Wallace Monument
is a 220ft Victorian Gothic tower in Stirling, Scotland, built to commemorate Sir William Wallace, a national hero and warrior for Scottish independence in the 13th century. It stands on Abbey Craig, overlooking the site of the decisive Battle of Stirling Bridge, and houses exhibitions on Wallace's life and other Scottish figures, with visitors able to climb 246 stairs to a viewing platform at the top. Completed in 1869 through public fundraising, it's a prominent national landmark with historical significance and panoramic views.

The Cruachan Reservoir
is an upper storage basin for Scotland's Cruachan Power Station in the Highlands, created by a 316-meter dam on Ben Cruachan. This pumped-storage system uses the reservoir's water to quickly generate electricity for the national grid during peak demand by releasing water through turbines housed in a "hollow mountain". The reservoir collects water from a 23 km² catchment area, capable of storing 10 million cubic meters of water, and can provide 440 megawatts of power.
