In this video, we go over the key distinguishing features of Lundi the elephant so you can get to know her better! 💚🐘
Lundi is mother to bull elephant Mambo and adoptive mother to Khanyisa, the albino calf in our care.
Lundi has some interesting characteristics!
The main one is the perforations on her right ear. She also has two small triangular sections missing from her left ear.
Lundi also has, as we like to say, 'wonky' tusks. Her right tusk is slightly higher than the left one. There's also a notch in her left tusk.
She has a very thick bushy tail as compared to, for instance, Fishan's tail hairs.
If you look at Lundi's head you will also notice she has prominent indentations above the bones above her eyes. This makes her quite recognisable.
Lundi has heart-shaped ears, as our team likes to refer to them.
