In the Welding Training Program you will acquire the skills needed for a welding position in the manufacturing and construction industries. Over a 320 hour course, you will learn in-demand manual and semi-automated welding processes, including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW). The first week of this course is spent in a classroom setting, where you will learn safety, blueprints, weld symbols, measuring tools, hand tools, and shop math. After week one, we move into hands-on training on the shop floor to apply and expand upon the classroom lessons, while learning the welding processes.
During your training, you will have the opportunity to meet CLC, Inc. employer partners that are interested in hiring our graduates. You'll have hands-on help with a designated Job Developer for job searches, resume development, and interviewing skills.
All CLC, Inc. courses are approved and regulated by Texas Workforce Commission.
