This communication was born in California and on the social networks 6 years ago. During a day, each is invited to speak about the grape Chardonnay and to celebrate it. The cradle of the grape variety invites its lovers to share this moment.
The Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne participates in the event through the social networks (Tweet, Facebook and Instagram) and live in the United States, and so does the Agence de Développement Touristique de Saône-et-Loire (Facebook and Pinterest).
The country of origin of the most spread grape variety in the world has to celebrate the Chardonnay.
Confidential and universal,it owes its name to the village of Chardonnay.
On this occasion, the producers of Mâcon-Chardonnay, the municipality of Chardonnay, the Office de Tourisme entre Saône et Vignes du Haut-Mâconnais, the Pays Sud-Bourgogne and the Agence de Développement Touristique de Saône-et-Loire imagined together the discovery of the famous vine-stock.
A free tasting will be organized on the place of the Millennaire in Chardonnay from 6 to 9 pm. The appellation in the honor will be of course the Mâcon-Chardonnay. Photo-memory of this inescapable moment will be taken in the “Cadole à Marcel”. The walking of 10’ will be rewarded for a surprise.

La célébration du Chardonnay Day est née en Californie et sur les réseaux sociaux il y 6 ans. Pendant une journée, chacun est invité à parler du cépage Chardonnay et à le célébrer. Le berceau du cépage invite ses amoureux à partager ce moment.
