Описание: In contrast to the Republic, the Empire regarded its soldiers as expendable. This mindset was glaringly evident in their deployment of the TIE fighter. While the Rebels designed the X-wing for quality to compensate for their limited numbers, the Empire churned out TIE fighters that were perilous, although they were economical and allowed for massive deployments. Their absence of shields and flawed design led many TIE pilots to meet fiery ends. Worse yet, some pilots found themselves in damaged crafts, helplessly drifting in the vastness of space. Rescues for these unfortunate souls were rare since the Empire found it more cost-effective to merely replace the lost pilots, abandoning them to their bleak fate until their life support ran out.
