Born and raised in Los Angeles, Thee-O began his musical journey at 13, mastering turntables and performing at school dances and house parties. By 1992, at just 18, he immersed himself in the burgeoning rave scene, becoming a staple at iconic events like Under the Kandyground, Narnia, Paw Paw Patch, Futureworld, and Desert Rave. These legendary parties, known for their vibrant energy and underground ethos, helped establish Thee-O as a leading figure in the LA rave culture, earning him the title “Godfather of the LA Rave Scene.” His name on a flyer became a guarantee of an unforgettable night for ravers.

Renowned for his dynamic mixing and scratching skills, Thee-O seamlessly blends genres—techno, trance, house, and more—creating a signature sound that has captivated audiences for decades. His performances at major festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival and Monster Massive, as well as iconic clubs like RED and Spundae, have solidified his global influence.

Beyond DJing, Thee-O is a prolific producer and remixer, releasing tracks on prestigious labels such as Bedrock, Suara, Perfecto, Looq, Drops, and System Recordings. Under his Reef Project alias, inspired by his passion for aquariums, he has produced two albums, including the acclaimed Deep End (2003), featuring lush ambient soundscapes, trippy electronica, and minimalistic dance tracks ideal for chill-out rooms.

In 1993, Thee-O founded Biohazard Productions and Studios, a collective for like-minded DJs, and in 1995, he threw his first event, Tomorrowland. His contributions extend to writing for URB Magazine and releasing his first commercial mix CD, Skywalking (1998), under the Base 9 label. With a career spanning decades, Thee-O continues to shape the electronic music landscape.
