Philips N2552 - First playback and recording test of this 4th deck I purchased working and refurbished with new gears a few weeks ago from Slovenia via eBay NL. Let's see if it works as advertised. And for those curious what the hell was that all about at 6:01 in the video. i forgot to rewind after the test recording so when hitting play....... Indeed nothing, no music!!! So I paused the video and that's when I noticed this 'brain fart' type omission and hit rewind for a while to be able to listen to the recording test track on the tape! And un-paused the video again to show you the audience the result.
Edit: In this video I mention that obviously no caps has been replaced in this deck. But I was wrong. After some closer look inside the deck I found as was advertised by seller that a handful of capacitors have been replaced by polyester caps !
