Code and circuit adapted again from Jean-Luc Deladrière's blog http://elek101.blogspot.com.au/. As Jean-Luc found, it appears the chip can be run on 5V (despite the 7V minimum stated in the spec), making it easier than I expected to implement inflection. The external components for the Votrax's internal clock have been removed and now the clock signal (727kHz) is supplied from one of the PWM ports of the Arduino.
