Описание: Great news from Yorke Peninsula! A southern Yorke Peninsula born bettong was found - and she’s carrying her own young joey.

We were recently out in-the-field with our partners to check up on the bettongs that were released in Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park, as part of the Marna Banggara project to restore this spectacular landscape.

The bettongs are doing so well, nearly every female that underwent a health check was carrying pouch young. We’re super excited to welcome a new generation of bettongs to Yorke Peninsula.
