Ahead of her nomination, Murmu paid tributes to the statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr BR Ambedkar and Birsa Munda at Parliament. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the Parliament ahead of the filing of nomination by NDA's Presidential election candidate Draupadi Murmu.
