Let's start our tour of Eagle Mountain in the neighborhood around The Ranches Golf Course - it's a beautiful neighborhood, and hey, it gave me an excuse to play for a minute :)
This neighborhood is the most north-eastern tip of Eagle Mountain, and the city spreads south and west from here, and is still expanding - this is the 3rd fastest growing city in Utah right now and the city is fairly new. That means that a lot of the homes are newer builds (most of them built after 2000).
There are several nice parks dotting the mostly green landscape, and we visit Cory Wride Memorial Park in the video. Cory Wride often acts as a city center, with basketball courts, pickleball courts, playgrounds, a splash pad, picnic tables - it's a common family gathering place in Eagle Mountain.
Outside of parks and some hiking and biking options, a lot of residents here will take a 10-30 minute drive to Lehi or Draper for other amenities.
The schools in Eagle Mountain score well, with the exception of the only high school, which got a "C" from niche.com - the struggle for them is the massive growth and therefore the crowded school environment. When the city has nearly 65,000 residents, 4 elementary schools, and 2 middle schools, everyone funnels to one place for high school and you get 3800 students there, and any teacher will tell you that creates difficult class sizes to manage well. A second high school is currently under construction and that will improve the high school situation significantly!
Remember that I look up schools on these two sites:

And if you're interested in learning more about a city that you don't see I've made a video for yet, just let me know in the comments and I'll be happy to make it my next video! I'll respond to you directly, as well.
And as always, if you're interested in moving to Utah or are already here and looking to move within the Salt Lake, Davis, or Utah counties, let's have a conversation! Hit me with all your questions, especially the one's you're nervous about asking. I want you to feel like you're well informed as you make any real estate decisions here in Utah, and I want you to have as smooth a transaction as possible as you buy/sell your home. I'll be happy to hear from you.
