Celebrated Citizens of East Belfast Greenaway Walk Tour
It's Saturday the 12th September 2020 and I the have joined the Celebrated Citizens of East Belfast Greenaway Walk Tour. The tour is led by well known, all things Belfast, author Peter McCabe. Peter has a encycloperdic knowledge and understanding of all things historical to do with Belfast. He has a boundless enthusiasm, all questions accepted, for his subject and we had great craic on the tour.
The tour was part of the East Belfast Festival celebrating the East Belfast Greenaway. The tour took 90 mins approximately and followed a return loop from the Eastside Centre around the nearby former shipyard street of East Belfast. It was £ 8 per ticket and I booked online.
Would i book another tour with Eastside and Peter or one of the other guides? Yes indeed.
Peter has written cemetery guide/trail books based on walks round the City Cemetery and Dundonald Cemetery. These can be bought at Eastside Centre or I believe online.
