OLD FILM FROM OUR ARCHIVE. Taffy and Toby - we broke this pair of Welsh cob crosses for driving trials. This film shows them during breaking with us where we work on teaching them to be forward-going when entering the water, and to go into deep water at a variety of paces. We then show that they will go up and down a slope as part of the obstacle - essential training for outdoor driving trials events, especially in muddy conditions. Indoor horse driving trials abroad can also include water obstacles, so we believe it is an essential part of every horses training. Toby is now competing at National level as a single with a Para-driver.
