Emsland Group – WaltrAut Construction Timelapse

Описание: WaltrAut is the nickname for the Emsland Group’s new roller drying plant with autoclave. Standing at 33 meters (108 ft) tall, the technology in this building produces an extensive plant-based product range for the surfactant, textile, construction and adhesive industries.

Constructed in 2021, the Emsland Group dedicated more than one third of the entire project costs, approximately 10 million euros, to local suppliers and partners during the building of the plant. In addition to the long-term investment for employees and local farmers, the environmental footprint was also minimized. For the drying process alone, CO2 neutrality was achieved thanks to the use of steam from neighboring plants providing the necessary energy.

Thanks to this modern plant, the Emsland Group is able to respond even more individually to customer requirements and specifications. In our research and development department, products can be produced on a small scale on our “Mini-WaltrAut,” so that we can test the product’s application together with the customer. As soon as the desired properties are achieved, the products can then be produced on a large scale in the WaltrAut plant. We are now able to transfer a much wider range of products from the innovation department directly to the production line and fulfill the needs of our customers.
