I strapped this single cylinder engine to an electric table grinder, not only to add tension to the belt, but for my own amusement! This motor is rated at 1500 PRM and due to the pulley's "gear" reduction, rotates the engine at a cold idle speed (1000 PRM) This shows how fast everything is happening inside your engine as you sit at a red light, I will always wonder how engines can withstand such speeds, but I'm glad they do!
