This is the Sigma 24-35mm f/2.0 Art series lens 4K video test. Back in 2013, Sigma made their world's first Large aperture zoom 18-35mm f/1.8 Art series lens. They have changed the f/2.8 zoom theory. But that 18-35mm lens was designed for crop sensor camera only. After 2 years, Sigma have once again announced a large aperture zoom lens. And this time it's made for full frame camera. Even though I know a lot of people been complaining such a short focal length when it was first announced. Only 24-35mm!! When I first look on the paper. Yes, it's really short. But after the second thought, I think the lens was pretty handy. Because Sigma was actually combining 2 primes together. The Canon EF 24mm f/2.8 STM and EF 35mm f/2.0 STM. I wouldn't say it's better than having two primes. But at least sigma did a great job of trying something new.

First, the build quality of the lens is great. Second, it feels very solid in your hands. Although it was a bit heavy. But as expected for such a fast lens. I have done the test with the A7S II in 4K. This time I shot everything in S-Log 2, cos S-log 3 is overkill for internal codec. And the Melbourne weather wasn't that good when I was shooting the video. Didn't have the strong sun light, so S-Log 2 was more than enough.
