How to spend a day in St. Joseph, Michigan? Located in the southwest corner of Michigan, St. Joseph has a lot to offer for people coming from Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Chicago. The city has a downtown full of shops and restaurants, a historic carousel with memories going back to when St. Joseph once had an amusement park, a sandy beach with two lighthouses at the end of the St. Joseph River as it empties out into Lake Michigan, historic homes overlooking the bluff, and very famous pizza from Silver Beach Pizza.
