IT - Pontedera è la patria della Vespa, il luogo dove tutto è cominciato: sono 140 anni di Piaggio e 100 anni dello Stabilimento di Pontedera, dove Vespa è nata.
Il focus di questa edizione è vivere una vera e propria “Tuscan Experience“, conoscendo il territorio, la gastronomia e la cultura dove Vespa è nata, con lo spirito vespistico di chi vive Pontedera ogni giorno e ne celebra il capolavoro.
Le Terre di Pisa accolgono i Vespisti con le loro tradizioni e l’alchimia tra industria e paesaggio che solo questa parte della Toscana può offrire.
Le dolci colline che hanno ispirato Corradino d’Ascanio ieri e oggi incarnano l’essenza della gioia di guidare l’amata Vespa. Dall’alba al tramonto, tra colline e pianure, fino al mare.
Il desiderio dei Vespa Club di riunirsi in un grande raduno internazionale per celebrare la loro passione ha preso forma nel 1954 con il grande Raduno Internazionale di Parigi, che fu di fatto il primo Euro Vespa.
Da allora, a parte una piccola pausa negli anni Settanta e quella recente dovuta alla pandemia, ogni anno i Vespa Club di tutto il mondo si riuniscono per celebrare i valori dell’associazione vespistica.
Nel logo una storia da celebrare: 140 anni di Piaggio e 100 anni dello stabilimento di Pontedera, quello dove è nata la Vespa.
Una ruota dentata per ricordare il Vespa World Club, la Federazione Internazionale che riunisce tutti i club nazionali e una ruota dentata per sottolineare il valore dell’associazionismo, un meccanismo che funziona solo se tutti hanno lo stesso scopo. 8000 iscritti ufficiali e altrettanti che si sono uniti al gruppo per questa giornata di parata sabato 20 Aprile iniziata con la pioggia per poi lasciare spazio al sole che ha accompagnato tutta la manifestazione.

The desire of the Vespa Clubs to come together in a large international gathering to celebrate their passion took shape in 1954 with the great International Rally in Paris, which was in fact the first Euro Vespa.
Since then, apart from a small pause in the Seventies and the recent one due to the pandemic, every year Vespa Clubs around the world gather to celebrate the values ​​of the Vespa association.

A cogwheel to remember the Vespa World Club, the International Federation that brings together all the national clubs and a cogwheel to underline the value of associations, a mechanism that only works if everyone has the same purpose. 8000 official members and the same number who joined the group for this day of parade on Saturday 20th April which began with the rain and then gave way to the sun which accompanied the entire event.
