Camping on a Ghost Town in Congress Arizona | Van Life, Gold Mines & a Gila Monster!

Описание: Van life on the move again. I leave the cool mountain forest and head back down into the Arizona desert, stopping near Congress, Arizona for a few peaceful nights of BLM camping.
On the way I pass through a small Arizona town and discover an amazing little pizza spot before heading out to camp on land that was once home to a historic ghost town and gold mine.
While exploring the area I visit an old pioneer cemetery, learn about the fascinating mining history of the region from a local gold miner, and take a desert hike where I’m lucky enough to spot a Gila monster in the wild.Afterwards, I cook up some pasta primavera.
The desert delivers some incredible sunsets and quiet nights under the stars — one of the things I love most about van life and boondocking in the Southwest.
