We’re usually in Disney with our kids—planning the days, juggling the pace, and doing the parks at full speed. This time, we slowed everything down and spent two days at Disney World as an adults-only trip. No schedule. No rushing. Just following our feet through Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT.
In this video, we break down exactly what we did, what surprised us, and how different the parks feel when you’re not in parent mode. If you’re wondering whether a Disney adults-only trip is worth it, how to plan one, or what you can realistically fit into two days, this guide walks you through our full experience.
What we cover:
• Staying at the Swan Reserve (location, pros/cons, who it’s best for)
• What an adults-only night at Hollywood Studios actually looks like
• Baseline Taphouse, Tune In Lounge, Brown Derby, and Oga’s late-night tips
• A slower morning at Animal Kingdom + Everest and Flight of Passage
• The best mid-day break spot at Disney World (Nomad Lounge)
• Walking to EPCOT during Food & Wine Festival
• Inside GEO82, EPCOT’s newest adults-focused lounge
• Behind the Seeds Tour review (and whether it’s worth booking)
• EPCOT fireworks with zero stress
• How this style of trip compares to visiting with kids
If you’re planning a Disney adults-only weekend, a couples trip, or just want a slower, easier way to experience the parks, this video gives you a realistic look at how to do it well without over-planning.
We’re a family travel team who visit Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and all-inclusive resorts with our kids—and we help families plan stress-free vacations built around what actually matters. If you want help planning your next trip, you can reach out anytime.

Join us for the good, the bad, and ups and the downs of family travel. We'll share the fun, the mistakes, and the realities of family travel at ho
