GBO2 Hildolfr: Still strong at 550?!

Описание: This video is a recent rated match I had with the LV4 Hildolfr on Gundam Battle Operation 2. The LV4 is a 550 cost support with outstanding transformed mobility, stun resist while transformed or crouched and great ballistic damage output. I don't think it really has much weaknesses outside of less output than traditional tank type MS in its normal mode, but it makes up for this and then some with its ability to shoot its cannons while moving in transformed mode. This match was ultimately a loss in the end due to an early disconnect, but I still uploaded it since I got a lot of damage and was able to showcase how borderline overpowered the suit is, even far over cost at LV4 550. The primary weapons of the LV4 Hildolfr are a pair of machine guns with 151 power, 60 ammo, 277 RPM, 7 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 250m range, 697 DPS and 5% stagger value. This is an incredibly awful primary with it taking over 4 seconds to stun and having poor DPS, so don't use them.
Its primary melee weapon is a shovel arm with 1997 power, 4 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap and standard melee modifiers. This heavy staggers on normal hits which gives it incredibly powerful utility in the form of stunning in transformed mode, detransforming and then heavy stunning them with your shovel.
Its first sub weapon is a HE cannon with 1840 power, 6 ammo, 6 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 1.5 seconds swap, 650m range and 70% stagger value. At first this seems like a worse version of typical cannons, but while transformed you won't need to stop to fire and can easily combo it into your cluster shells.
Its second sub weapon is a cluster cannon with 1380 power, 6 ammo, 4 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds reload, 1.5 seconds cooldown, 450m range and 0% stagger value. This doesn't stun at all but has the largest splash radius of any weapon type in the game. You can combo into this from your stunning cannon, which it can then hit multiple MS thanks to the splash radius.
Its third sub weapon is a APFSDS cannon with 2645 power, 1 ammo, 30 seconds reload, 3 seconds swap and 900m range. This doesn't have splash like your other cannons and suffers from long reloading/swapping time. This makes up for it though with high power, heavy stagger ability and 1.5x leg damage multiplier. This can basically instantly destroy squishier generals legs and confirms a combo into your other cannons for even higher damage.
Its fourth sub weapon is a smoke bomb with 2 (one use) ammo, 35 seconds rleoad and 1.5 seconds swap. This has long reload time but grants you LV1 Stealth for 15 seconds. This is especially valuable in your transformed state since it allows you to easily ambush generals with your powerful cannons or make a clean get-away.

The LV4 Hildolfr has 20000 HP, 34 ballistic resist, 24 beam resist and 12 melee resist, This is fairly high for the cost with your ballistic resist making you hard to take down from ballistic weapons. Your melee resist is low but you can't be stunned by it while transformed anyway.
You also have 120 (180) driving speed, 135 boost speed, 60 thrust and 54 (78) turning speed. Your stats are fairly average for a tank MS in normal mode but you become incredibly quick while transformed.
The stand out skill for Hildolfr is the Transformation. This is activated via the touchpad the causes you to become much shorter, move at high speed, fire your cannons without stopping, stun enemies by ramming them and gain Shock Dampeners. You also cannot be staggered or knocked down at ALL while entering or exiting your transformed state. This is a ridiculously powerful skill and makes it so that you can go on the offensive and easily fight generals, even 1v1. Many raids will also struggle to stop you which makes you incredibly menacing to fight, regardless of their class.
You also have the standard tank MS skills such as Stabilization Device and Precision Shelling. Precision Shelling grants +10 total ranged mod while crouched and the SD skill grants you stun resist while crouched. You won't be transformed all the time and so its fine to play as a regular tank MS if the situation calls for it, these skills make that very easy.

Overall I think that the Hildolfr is extremely powerful and perhaps even overpowered for 400-450 cost, 500-550 cost it is still quite strong as shown in this match. It is practically a tank MS that can at any time choose to go fight on the frontlines with high speed and stun resistance. Many raids from across the spectrum of 400-550 cost struggle to consistently stop a good Hildolfr player so you are one of the most self-reliant supports in the entire game. I can easily recommend it at any cost it is available at due to how powerful it is, especially for those players who often struggle playing support due to being abandoned by allies.
