Sonny apologizes to Zander and Carly. He says it was a mistake to fire Zander and offers him his job back. Zander agrees as long as he's not compromising his friendship with Carly. Zander leaves. Carly tells Sonny she knows how hard it is for him to admit he was wrong. Didn't say he was wrong, only that he made a mistake, Sonny replies. More semantics to follow. Carly says one day Sonny will realize that she's a lot smarter than he gives her credit for. Zander walks by and hears Sonny reply "maybe one of these days I'll be smart enough to see what's right in front of me." Zander flashes a wry smile and leaves unseen. Sonny leaves shortly thereafter and Zander returns. Carly asks him what he was going to say before Sonny showed up. He shrugs it off. "...that you're my best friend," he answers. Nice scenes for all involved.
